The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is Nintendo’s first Zelda game on Gamecube. Launched in February in 2003, it still one of Gamecube’s best games. WW is Link’s biggest adventure yet. Although WW doesn’t seem to be a LOZ game, it is. WW is the weirdest LOZ game yet, but I mean that in a good way.

Here is one of the best Star Wars related games I’ve ever seen. I’m a big fan of stories when I play games. If the story isn’t very good then I loose interest quickly. That’s probably why I’m drawn to RPGs. Knights of the Old Republic is no disappointment.

Well this is an interesting game and there is an interesting story behind me actually picking it up and playing… This will be a sort of unusual review as most of what I’ve learned about the game is from me watching someone else play and I haven’t actually seen the ending yet, but I have seen enough to be able to write what I think is a pretty complete review. Anyway there is a story to tell.

Okay, let’s be honest. It’s been a while since we’ve had a good Mario platformer. The most recent one I’d consider is Super Mario World. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve really enjoyed games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine and many of the Mario spin-offs. But I think we’ve been overdue for a good Super Mario Bros. 4. And Nintendo just gave us one.

When this originally came out, this was one of my least favorite games. I’d never really played an RPG before it, and coming in expecting the usual Mario platformer, I thought it was a strange and complicated setup. But after giving a bit of time and practice, it’s one of my favorite games of all time. It may possibly be my favorite SNES game, and it’s certainly my favorite Mario RPG. Here’s why:

As is now traditional since the SNES, there must be a new Mario Kart game with every system. SNES had Super Mario Kart, N64 had Mario Kart 64, GBA had Mario Kart: Super Circuit, and GCN had Mario Kart: Double Dash. Well, as was expected, the Nintendo DS got its own Mario Kart game. But this one is unlike any that has come before it…

Back in the days when gaming seemed simpler, Rare pulled out its answer Mario Kart 64. The sidekick from Donkey Kong Country races against other characters new and old on land, air and sea. But many wondered if this would just be Rare’s attempt to cash in on Mario Kart, or if it was something new and unique.

After being initially disappointed with Paper Mario as a sequel to Mario RPG, I found myself unwilling to consider any more Mario RPGs, after all, nothing could match or top the original, right? For the most part this one slipped under my radar. But then Mario & Luigi commercials popped up on tv. It looked a lot more like Mario RPG, and I was interested. After trying a demo at Gamestop, I decided to pick it up with my birthday money. I was not disappointed.
